Our client is recruting for a Technical Coordinator to join their fast-paced office environment.
The technical department provides in depth support for customers and the wider business. They also provide retrospective visits for repairs and rectifications on builds. In order to do this, they recognise that full training on their buildings will be provided. However, a knowledge of wider construction is a must.
Daily duties
* Contacting customers to discuss queries or book rectification slots for engineers.
* Creating reports to reflect any rectification work done, booking in rectifications using the company’s internal system.
* Updating calendars and spread sheets
* Identifying solutions from queries given by customers and/or colleagues.
* Keeping logistical records up to date.
* Liaising with our Customer Care department and Installers on site.
* Ordering Materials and Parts form external suppliers.
* Generating paperwork for the Engineers.
* Checking parts are ready to go out for fitting. (Anything from door handles to a piece of glass!)
Requirements
– This is a customer facing role and therefore strong customer service/ customer liaison skills are essential.
– An interest in construction
– Knowledge of Terms and Conditions in a previous role
– Previous construction experience.
– Strong computer skills required.
– Good verbal and communications skills and highly numerate
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy skills with experience in data inputting
– Experience in reporting figures, compiling data and creating reports
Desired experience
– A background in construction
– Knowledge of onsite health and safety / best practice
– Quality control experience
– Stores/ inventory management
Pay and conditions:
– £22,500 – £25,000 per annum (dependent on previous experience)
– Full time, permanent position
– Monday to Friday 9 am-5 pm
– 20 days paid holiday plus all statutory bank holidays. You will gain an additional 1 day holiday for every year worked at the company (maximum of 3 additional days)

We are based between Aylesbury and Bicester on Westcott Venture Park, just off the A41.
