We are looking for someone with logical planning skills and the ability to execute work projects to join a leading automotive company.
In this role, you will be providing technical support to the UK Dealer Network and ensuring the efficient supply of technical information to relevant factories across all available products.
Skills and Experience:
Proficient in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel
Good numerical and literacy skills
Confident team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent communication skills to relate effectively to individuals at all levels
Can-do attitude with the desire and capability to take ownership of area of responsibility
Flexible in approach, with the ability to reprioritise when required
Key responsibilities:
Create local Technical & Service bulletins and issue to the Dealer Network
Ensure new model manuals are ordered and auto-issued out to the Dealer Network, reclaiming any technical manuals from terminated Dealers.
Maintain and update the Dealer Communication system.
Maintain special tool stock including factory and local supplier orders as required. Manage auto issues and new dealer requirements.
Create and submit returns as agreed with Technical Co-Ordinator.
Assist in the return of parts from the Dealer Network and ensure they are packed and sent to appropriate factory.
Assist warranty, parts, and customer service departments on decisions of a technical nature.
Provide support to the Technical Co-Ordinators including Technical Helpdesk support when required.
Assist Technical Regulation Co-Ordinator with data collection for campaigns
Provide assistance with ad-hoc projects within the Service Department.
Issue and produce letters for Customer service requests.
Supply and update vehicle technical specification data on a weekly basis, such as Type Approval information and Certificates of Conformity, for use by all Departments
