H9 Technical are recruiting for a Technical Administrator in Buckinghamshire area.
Overview
This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator to provide technical administrative support to the Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Team Leaders.
Role & Responsibilities
SHEQ:
Carry out assigned tasks and duties in a safe manner, in accordance with instructions, and to comply with safety rules/procedures, regulations and codes of practice.
If aware of any unsafe practice or condition, or if in any doubt about the safety of any situation, consult their line manager.
Obtain and use the correct tools/equipment for the work and not to use any that are unsafe or damaged. All tools, equipment and personal protective equipment must be stored in the approved place after use.
Report any accident, near-miss, dangerous occurrence, or dangerous condition to their line management.
Avoid improvised arrangements and suggest safe ways of eliminating hazards.
Not to participate in horseplay or place fellow employees in danger by their actions.
Adopt a proactive manner to energy usage and suggest ways of improving energy performance.
Operational:
To provide technical administrative support to the facility.
To work with the Maintenance Team to update and maintain all technical documentation, including but not limited to:
Production of select work pack documentation
Upload of Risk assessments
Upload of method statements
Maintenance of RAMS database
Update of control of contractors database
Collection of time sheets
Collection of HAVS sheets and upload to S.F.S
Collection of mobile plant service reports and upload to S.F.S
Collection of plant service reports and upload to S.F.S
Maintenance of the S.F.S
Upload of the Council monthly maintenance report
Technical minutes of meetings.Miscellaneous
To cover for the site administrator during holidays and periods of sickness.
Skills & Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of the relevant Competency Management System modules.
Completion of all other training as defined within the Training Matrix.
Strong organisation skills.
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
Good timekeeping skills and ability to meet deadlines
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Ability to work in an efficient and effective manner.
Ability to multitask.
Ability to use initiative.
Ability to build good relationships.
Experience – Essential
Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite.
Familiar in the use of Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, or other similar database or spreadsheet applications.
Experience – Desirable
Broad appreciation of an EfW Plant/heavy engineering background
Basic appreciation of the principles of Maintenance
