We're recruiting for a Sales / Quotes and Tender Administrator with previous knowledge of the Construction Industry to work with our growing client based in Milton Keynes
About the role:
The main responsibility of the Sales/Quotes and Tender Administrator is to be responsible for all the quoting for new enquiries, and to assist the sales team where required in quoting and other activities to allow them to focus their time as much as possible on business development. Most quotes are completed from an excel schedule format by extracting information from architects' drawings and schedules and so attention to detail is important. You must also be confident in contacting the client should you feel the information provided does not look correct. This position requires the ability to work as a team and to fit into the company culture.
Main Responsibilities
Quoting
Ensuring all quotes are returned to customers in the timescales required, but all non-tenders are to be returned within 24 hours. Estimating and pricing up new schemes, we are very project-focused and every project can be priced up differently with different specifications.
Customer Liaison
Keeping customers informed as to when quotes will be returned and discussing details with them where necessary to clarify the quote.
Technical knowledge
An ability to answer questions asked over the phone, email, or online chat. This would come from our internal technical product training.
Sales Support
Supporting the Project Consultants with administration and other tasks to facilitate a smooth and efficient customer experience.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
Updating Systems – loading schemes, key contacts, notes on how you have priced the job
Reporting/Accountability – reporting back on a weekly basis and checking target vs actual for KPIs and performance management
Access to and responsibility for the safe handling of confidential and sensitive information
Key Performance Indicators:
All enquiries are processed accurately within the SLA timescales – this will vary between different types of projects and quotations.
All documentation produced is accurate and complete
Strong positive customer feedback from all RFI communication
Experience:
Experience in a similar role preferably building, construction, or fit-out related, working with relevant quoting and product systems.
The ability to read and understand/interpret architect drawings and specifications
Evidence of working on several projects simultaneously in and delivering quotations on time and to the expected standard.
