An international engineering company is looking to recruit a Sales Order Administrator who will be responsible for the daily administrative processing of all orders placed within the Spares Department. Working within a team of 5, you will take ownership of one part of the business to ensure the effective stock and order fulfilment from suppliers around the world.
Your duties will include:
Entering and processing orders into the company business system
Prepare accurate order shipping documentation appropriate and specific to the orders involved
Arrange appropriate Courier or Road Transport shipment collections
Maintain accurate administrative records in line with company Sales Order processing requirements
Retain complete logistics documentation for possible future vetting/auditing
Liaising and building relationships with suppliers and internal service units
You will need experience of and good knowledge of Order Fulfilment processes, inventory control and logistics / freight relationships. You will be reliable with a good eye for detail, whilst possessing excellent interpersonal skills and be proficient in working with MS Office.
Experience of working in a quality or compliance environment eg ISO 9001 would be beneficial
