Our Client is a global manufacturer and supplier of technically innovative equipment for the food and beverage processing industry and a wide range of other process industries. They are now seeking a Sales Administrator. This position will be Home Based (Remote Working) and is a full-time permanent role.
Key Responsibilities
* Work under the guidance of the order desk team leader to ensure efficient running of the order desk
* Timely and accurate processing of sales orders in SAP & SalesPlus
* Project manage larger jobs from point of order to delivery to site
* Work closely with internal customs clerk to coordinate deliveries
* Issue POs for materials and services
* Liaise with customers and suppliers to provide excellent customer service
* Issue invoices and credit notes
* Deal with internal and external customer/supplier enquiries
* Manage warranty and other claims
* Maintain master data records for customers, suppliers and materials. Create/amend part numbers and prices
* Monitor and approve supplier invoices and credit notes
* Create letters to be issued to customers on various topics
* Work with Finance to ensure accurate processing of all finance related tasks
* Keeping accurate records and maintaining good housekeeping. Provide general admin support to sales and technical teams
* Write/update guidelines for ISO Standards
* Generate monthly order, warranty and stock reports to measure performance. Assist in creating info / documentation packs for staff and customers
* Assist in gathering data for monthly sales reports. Collect data for quarterly figures to be submitted
* Maintain and develop training packs for various in house systems/processes. Carry out training for internal staff/dealers on internal systems/procedures
* Work on ad-hoc projects in accordance with business requirements
Qualifications and Experience
* A-Levels or equivalent
* Good working knowledge of SAP an advantage
* Previous experience in a customer service role an advantage
* Quick learner with a willingness to learn
* Keen eye for detail
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Good numeracy skills
* Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
* Competent use of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. Excellent general IT skills
* Flexible and proactive approach with ability to problem solve
* Good team player with the ability to work in remote teams
In return, our Client is offering a basic salary of £26,000 per annum plus benefits.
