MSX International are currently recruiting for an experienced Proof Reader to join our Design Department, as part of the Desktop Publishing Team, based at the National Learning Centre, Wymbush, Milton Keynes. This is a maternity cover role on a 12-month fixed term contract.
What will I be responsible for?
Joining our team as a Proof Reader, you will be responsible for proofreading a variety of printed and digital content for the Volkswagen Group Training prospectus. On a daily basis, your role will involve:
* They will be able to implement any amendments, either on hard copy or using a variety of different software platforms.
* Responsible for ensuring the content of all files conform to the Client's house styles/In-house style guide.
* Have the ability to adhere to each Brand's Corporate Identity guidelines, including tone of voice, terminology and Brand values.
* Communicate and work together with their Team, and wider Teams within the Business, to ensure work is completed within the set given deadlines, and to high standards at all times.
* To work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with multiple deadlines.
* To carry out any ad-hoc administrative duties, as and when required.
Who are we looking for?
If you have Experience in proofreading and copy checking along with excellent attention to detail, the role of Proof Reader could be ideal for you! You will also have the following skills and competencies:
* Educated to a high level in English language and grammar is essential for this role.
* Competent IT skills (including Microsoft Office and Adobe).
* Ability to mark-up in a clear and concise way.
* Excellent communication and time management skills.
* Able to work independently, and within a Team efficiently.
* An interest in Learning & Development technologies would be beneficial, but it isn't essential.
