Production Co-Ordinator
Milton Keynes
£12.82 – £15.38 per hour depending on experience
Temporary with the opportunity to go Permanent
We are recruiting for a medium sized construction company based in Milton Keynes. We are looking for a natural problem solver with production planning experience. Currently they need someone to help streamline processes and gather information to improve all their current ways of working. You must be adaptable and happy to ''roll your sleeves up'' you will be required to work on site. This role will be liaising with all areas of the business and requires quite a bit of walking around site. An exciting opportunity where you can make improvements to improve the customers journey.
You will be
Process orders for machinery and parts
Work to strict SLAs
Progress chase orders for a timely delivery
Work closely with the buyer to order parts
Streamline processes ad process improvement
Support with uploading drawings on to system
Review manufactured stock levels and make recommendations to line manager
Manage inventory and stock
Update databaseSkills required
Must have manufacturing experience
Must have production planning experience
Must be extremely organised and able to prioritise own workload
Must be a natural problem solver
Experience of streamlining processes or implementing new processes desired not essential
Knowledge of ERP systems desired
Understanding of engineering drawings desired not essential
