Newstaff Employment Services are looking for an Office Manager for a new start up Distribution Centre coming to Milton Keynes
You will be reporting to the Head of Logistics, this role is pivotal to the success and organization of the Distribution Centre. Operating across all functions and supporting the Milton Keynes and Head Office Team
The Office Manager will be responsible for all data, internal and customer communications and monitoring of KPI's. Above the Office Manager will flexible, willing to help all functions, organized, customer focused, professional with the ability to build relationships across organization
Duties & Responsibilities:
To assist in the recruitment of staff and staff record keeping including time sheets, absence records, holidays, performance reviews and driving license information
Provide administration and data analysis duties for the Distribution Centre and Head Office functions
To support all departments within the Distribution Centre ensuring high levels of professionalism, customer service and teamwork at all times
Clear timely and professional communication with customers, ensuring deliveries are made on time and to a high standard
Keep accurate secure information relating to staff and Sofas and Stuff Ltd
Ensuring all records and systems are kept up to date and accurate
Carrying out analysis of customer order and distribution activity trends
Supporting Head Office functions as directed by Head of Logistics
Supporting the Warehouse Planning manager particularly regarding planning of routes, team & vehicle management and customer communication
Control and monitor office purchasing and costs
Provide cost information to the Head of Logistics to support the site and company budget preparation
Ensure high levels of H&S across site including management of Fire, Intruder and Access systems, cleaning, recycling and waste management
Ensure site Fire Marshall, First Aid, PAT testing and H&S compliance
Help & support appropriate training and support for the Milton Keynes team
Review processes ensuring best practice is maintained

Qualifications
Experienced in small office management
Experienced in a customer focused role
Good knowledge of excel and data analysis
Working knowledge of distribution/vehicle management an advantage
Working knowledge of H&S an advantage
Physically fit – able and willing to lift large pieces of furniture as a team
