To handle all new members coming onboard and existing members that may need support, they are looking to recruit a Membership Officer to join their team.
This is an ideal role for a Graduate who has got at least one years experience within the workplace in an administrative/customer focussed role.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
* First point of contact for new and existing members providing excellent customer service on all membership related issues
* Responsible for the application and onboarding processes for new members
* Responsible for the assessment processes including hosting online interviews
* Administrative functions such as, processing payments and Bulletin subscriptions
* Actively support development of the new CRM, CMS and automated workflow processes
* Contribute to the sustainable operation by developing new initiatives for income generation
* Working with the Membership Manager, co-ordinate the membership renewals process
* Providing support to the Membership Manager for ongoing projects and development of membership services
* Understand other team roles and cover for colleagues as part of a dynamic small team
* Contribute to the development of the organisation in line with our strategic objectives
* Occasional weekend/overnight attendance at events
Essential Requirements
* At least one years’ experience working in the field of customer service
* Strong administration, time management and communication skills.
* High level of literacy to provide quality written and verbal communications
* High level of computer literacy with good MS Office skills & experience of updating webpages.
* Proven experience working as a team player, having a flexible approach to work and ability to prioritise
* Ability to use initiative and be innovative to improve the quality of our service and products
* Demonstrates professional attitude with tact, integrity and sensitivity at all points of contact
* It would be an absolute advantage if the candidate has worked in a role involving memberships or onboarding.
* Has a degree level qualification or equivalent, and has written and verbal skills in a second language.
