We are looking for a part time Receptionist on a temporary to permanent basis, for our client based close to Milton Keynes.

Joining their friendly reception team, you will be responsible for providing a high standard of face to face support to patients, staff and visitors at all times whilst maintaining confidentiality.   

Position: Part time Receptionist-

Hours: Monday to Friday 1.15pm to 6.45pm, 27 hours

Salary: £8.91ph

The job will involve…

–          Booking appointments for patients with the required professional  

–          Supporting colleagues to maintain an efficient and friendly team atmosphere

–          Dealing with general enquiries from patients and visitors in a helpful and efficient manner

–          Greeting patients, doctors and visitors at Reception in a polite and friendly manner

–          Answering the telephone promptly and courteously

–          Making appointments using the computerised appointments system

–          Assisting patients to complete new registration forms

–          Assisting with any other administration required

–          Administering the procedure for repeat prescriptions.

The Person will…

–          Have previous experience within the NHS or medical field (desirable)

–          Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

–          Have the ability to problem solve  

–          Have the ability to multi task and work in a fast paced environment

–          Have a keen eye for detail

–          Be able to work to strict deadlines but also have a flexible approach to their work   

–          Be a strong administrator

–          Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office, Word and Excel and Systemone (ideally)
