Logistics Administrator

Temporary 2 months until End of September 2021

Hours of Work: 40 hours per week

£11.50 per hour (£24,000 per annum)

This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or university student who is available until the end of September. My client is looking for someone who is highly organised and passionate about delivering a great service.

What experience do you already need to have?

Excellent Customer Service Skills
Strong numeracy / literacy
Good at Excel
Quick to respond to new challenges
Highly organised with ability to work under pressure and to deadline
Problem solving skills
Dynamic planning ability
Displays a confident and professional manner
Attention to detail
Competency with MS Excel is preferred as spreadsheets are used on a daily basis – if you have a good understanding of spreadsheets and are accurate with data then please also apply.What will you be trained to do?

Manage the administration of road transportation for client goods
Work closely with origin offices to ensure consignments move correctly, on time
Arranging transactional service supports such as Customs clearance and haulage via agents and sub-contractors
Communicate and escalate to team members and Management wherever necessary
Maintain systems with accurate and real-time data
Monitor and control all cost and revenue at job-file level
Ensure total accuracy of all information and high standards of operational service are met at all time
Take responsibility for themselves and others at all times observing Health and Safety and any related laws governing the work place
