Land & Development Administrator

Temporary to Permanent
£23 – 25,000 / £12ph PAYE
The Client
Our Client are a New Build Housing contractor working Nationally. This top ten house builder produce a wide range of homes for first time buyers and Housing Associations across the Country offering all-inclusive specifications. They are looking to recruit a temporary to permanent Administrator to support their Lane & Development teams in Milton Keynes.
The Role
Provide comprehensive secretarial / administrative support to the Director and Land Team. Provide administrative support to the Development Department in the appraisal, planning, coordination, design and procurement functions on each project from tender through construction to post.
Duties
Organise and maintain the Department diary
Liaise with internal and external individuals, consultants, groups and organisations as required
Arrange and distribute incoming / outgoing post for the Department
Record, produce and distribute minutes / actions of meetings as required by the Director.
Assist in the compilation and administration of Planning / Land Packs
Process the signing of invoices, cheque requests, petty cash and expenses.
Assist with the production of Management Meeting / Board Reports.
Maintain and update where required the Drawing Management System, Project Store, Site Stores
Assist in the issue/distribution of drawings to project team.
Demonstrate good organisational skills in scheduling and monitoring progress of team enquiries and distributing documents and information.
Assist in the preparation of tenant handbooks and other site manuals for client handovers.
Maintain Consultant Warranty & PI Schedules
Manage the recording and processing of invoices with the team.
Assist in compilation of the Health and Safety File/Operation and Maintenance Manuals
Liaising with relevant departments to ensure collation of all relevant documentation for obtaining plot completion Build Control certificates from relevant local authorities.
Organise EPC schedules for all completions, and collate EPCs from site teams.
Management of team weekly timesheets where used.
Requirements
Previous experience as a Team Administrator or in a similar role
Previous experience working in the Construction industry
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft programmes, such as Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability and confidence to work on own initiative and to work under pressure.
Strong numeracy and literacy skills
