Inventory Planner – Milton Keynes

£30-£40k Salary Depending on Experience.

Our client is a leading distributor of branded cycle components and accessories in the UK & Ireland.   As part of their continuing expansion, they are currently seeking an Inventory Planner to join the Stock Control Team.

Forecasting demand is fundamental to successful inventory planning and the successful applicant will work closely with Brand Managers to ensure efficient maintenance and development of the forecasting and reporting systems.
You will also work with the in-house Logistics and Operations Teams and external suppliers to improve and maintain purchasing efficiency.
Our client are particularly keen to hear from individuals with industry knowledge and knowledge of Shimano components would be extremely advantageous.
Your primary objective will be the achievement of stock availability and stock turn targets.
You’ll be flexible in your approach and willing to undertake a range of stock planning and purchasing tasks, self-motivated but also enjoy working within a team.
Possessing excellent numeracy skills along with advanced Excel, you’ll be an excellent communicator with an organized approach to your work. Attention to detail is key in this role.
