Paterson recruitment are recruiting an Administration Assistant to support administration documentation regarding Covid testing (LFT/PCRs) and vaccination take-up (hence a requirement to be a confident and competent user of Excel).
Duties:
Scanning and archiving paper files that are sent to the centre from homes and services – including sorting against a model file structure.
Collating and preparing standard reports on testing uptake and results sent in from homes and services (including chasing where required)
Collating and preparing standard reports on vaccination uptake amongst staff and residents / tenants (including chasing where required)
Assisting with letters, cards and other communications to (for example) employees, relatives and other stakeholders – to include mail merging, printing, folding, distributing.
Providing regular cover for the front of house at Woodley House as part of a rotation, to include reception / meet and greet, phone cover and general enquiries email inbox as required.
Any other duties commensurate with the role!
Skills:
Personable / good verbal communication skills in person and over the phone
Good attention to detail and ability to identify gaps and issues / contradictions in information.
Confident and competent in Microsoft Office applications, in particular Excel (intermediate level)
Ability to provide summaries, commentary and basic analysis of data using standard templates.
Flexibility and adaptability, willing to take on new tasks.
Ability to negotiate and influence others to fulfil requirements (e.g., to return information requests).
Ability to follow routine / standard processes, and to identify opportunities to improve and streamline these further.
Able to work effectively on own initiative and with others / as part of a team.
This is a 4 month temporary position that may extend to 6 months plus
