1. PURPOSE OF JOB
The Fleet Support & Pricing Executive will play a key role in the department’s ability to grow/develop in order to run parallel to the business’s ambitions and expectations.
2. KEY FEATURES
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will assist in the day to day running of the department, offering prompt responses to pricing enquiries, vehicle delivery progress reports and be able to offer generic vehicle knowledge including vehicle specifications and capabilities.
Key Responsibilities will include:
2.1 Composing prompt and accurate quotations for sales people for each product offering, including Flexible rental, Fixed rental, Ops Lease, Finance Lease and Option to Buy
2.2 To help plan body builder schedules & monitor their progress, to ensure an efficient lean-time production is maintained, optimising on the business units ability to take advantage of opportunities.
2.3 To issue weekly progress reports to the full network for new factory ordered products. Offering accurate ETA’s for the salesperson to communicate to the customer
2.4 Arranging vehicle deliveries with suppliers and ensuring all registrations and arrival dates are entered onto the master build sheet
2.5 Completing all necessary administrative procedures in order to prepare Capital payment runs to suppliers on a weekly basis to ensure prompt payment
2.6 Maintain, update and issue P11D asset values to network
2.7 Handover of sales vehicles when sold via the fleet department, issuing V5’s, spare keys and invoices to the purchaser
From time to time the company purchases/disposes of large quantities of assets and the job holder needs to ensure a balance is achieved in competing priorities and in the best interests of the business. For this reason the job holder will need to be a quick thinker and have a strong personality to deliver results.
Direction
An element of working by ones own initiative is required, and this will follow company objectives/guidelines.
The Fleet Director or Managing Director should be consulted where an executive decision is required
