Financial Team Leader (evenings/afternoons)
Our medium sized Financial Services client require a Team Leader to ensure that all customers are treated fairly and receive a fair and consistent service in line with the Company’s TCF policy.
Hours of work are 1.15pm to 9.15pm, Monday to Friday (35 hours working week).
Responsible for the management of a small team of Pensions Administrators.
The role holder will have access rights to the relevant systems and staff members, including any records necessary to allow the role holder to carry out their responsibilities. The role holder is responsible for handling this and any other data appropriately.
KEY RESULT AREAS
1. Lead, motivate and perform management functions for employees who report to the position, including selection, performance management, development, work assignment and prioritisation.
2. Overall responsibility for all areas of the day to day running and operations of the Pensions Support administration team.
3. Responsible for ensuring all work is delivered within laid down services levels, regulatory requirements, client reporting, business MI and other tasks as required by the Manager.
4. Production of Monthly MI, within timescales laid down.
5. Responsible for RAS returns prepared, checked and signed off within required timescales.
6. Responsible for quality assurance and checking of work for immediate reports and supporting other teams, also providing management cover for other teams as required.
7. Support and work on new projects across the business as required.
8. Work in conjunction with Manager to implement cost containment initiatives.
9. Maintain and develop good business relationships with internal and external customers.
10. Take responsibility for own development, initiate own Personal Development Plan and achievement of Performance Appraisal objectives.
ATTAINMENTS
* Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
* Financial related experience desired
* Previous experience of working in a regulated environment
