Allstaff Recruitment are currently seeking a Facilities Assistant based in Milton Keynes for a well-established commercial company.
Summary of the Facilities Assistant role…
Salary: £24,000 per annum
Location: Milton Keynes
Type of Contract: Permanent, Full-time.
Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30 – 5:00 pm.
The role…
As the Facilities Assistant your role will involve the following important duties:
Support the company facilities for daily and scheduled maintenance activities.
Raise purchase orders for service contractors, materials/stock, preventative, and reactive work in accordance with the facility manager.
Vendor contract reviews and management.
Health and safety support onsite, including attending safety meetings and security within the premises.
Compliance activities, ensure statutory services are booked and all documentation is up to date.
Plan and conduct schedule audits.
Ensure driver documentation is up to date.
Ensure all necessary catering stock is ordered and all catering and meeting room requirements are met.
Arrange and attend contractor meetings as required.
Setting up new vendors, invoice resolutions.
Maintain vendor register and ensure all vendor information/documentation is up to date.
Produce monthly reports for facilities department, e.g. Goods In and Reception.
Provide ad-hoc administrative tasks to assist other departments.
The experience required…
As a successful Facilities Assistant, you will have the following:
Experience working within a facilities role.
Experience raising purchase orders and maintaining vendor registers.
Knowledge of current health and safety regulations.
Experience raising invoices and working/assisting within an accounts department.
General admin experience and good IT and report writing skills.
