Export Administrator

£28,000 to £30,000 DOE

My client is looking for an experienced Export Administrator to process orders for their international clients. Reporting to the Customer Service Team Leader you will be responsible for Customer Service to their Worldwide customer base. The role encompasses several disciplines; order processing, import & export, finance (invoicing, Letters of Credit, Banking documentation).

Key Responsibilities

Enter all customer orders onto ERP system.
Provide Pro-forma and deposit invoices when required.
Arranging details of shipments with forwarders and carriers as necessary for export and import.
Processing of shipments via DHL or any other courier system.
Ensure that all export documentation complies with regulations and specific country requirements are met.
Responsible for producing all customer invoices once a consignment is ready for shipping.
Ensure that customer enquiries and orders are processed promptly and efficiently and that customers are kept fully informed of progress at all times.
Provide order acknowledgements to customers and sales managers in a timely manner and where possible within an agreed timeframe.
Maintain all necessary import records including IPR, RGR and Home Use for inspection by HMRC.
Provide customers with quotations for spares and follow up when necessary.
Ensure that Cost Requests are dealt with in a prompt manner and Epicor is updated with selling prices.
