Data Analyst

Temporary to Permanent

Milton Keynes

£22,000 to £27,000 DOE

My multi award winning client is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their Data Analytics Team. You will be responsible for supporting the reporting function through the creation and maintenance of reports and ensuring that reports are provided to Customers. You will be expected to provide analytics and information services to the business as well as helping to provide an insight into specific reports.

Key areas of responsibility include:

Provide reports to Customers within set service lines
Ensure that requests for changes to reports are completed within service lines
Manage and maintain existing reporting platform and help to migrate to a new reporting platform.
Assist the business with reporting queries
Handle ad-hoc requests for data extracts
Maintaining a high level of data quality and ensuring that data security procedures are followed to ensure customers data is kept secure
Help to develop and improve a data governance strategy
Assist the business with Data Analysis, looking for trends, insights and root causes
Look for process improvements within the reporting functionPerson Spec:

Ability to decipher and organise data
Good communication skills
Strong understanding the business and systems
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of SQL and Crystal Reporting is desirable
Good planning and organisational skills
Knowledge of data/analytics trends
An analytical mind-set
