We are recruiting for a Customer Support Administrator to join a thriving and forward-thinking company based in Milton Keynes. The purpose of this role is to provide admin support for customers from placing an order through to delivery of the order in a timely and efficient manner. To also provide administration support for external sales representatives, customers and other departments/managers as required.
Please note: In this role support with effective management of customers is required, including making visits (minimum 2 days per quarter which may require overnight accommodation away from home), building relationships, maintaining regular contact and being the first point of contact.
Job responsibilities
* Dealing with daily enquiries from internal and external customers and updating systems accordingly
* Answering telephone calls and effectively managing several different email accounts
* Adhering to customer SLA’s
* Providing support to sales reps in the form of filling, processing sample requests, quotations, project work and ad hoc administration
* Assessing commerciality/viability of requests made and challenging where appropriate
* Administering mailshots
* Assisting with inputting sales order processing when required
* Updating customers with progress reports
* Ad hoc projects
* Assisting accounts department if needed
* Maintaining and improving business processes within the role, department and wider business
Skills and experience
* Competent user of Office 365
* Competent user of Outlook
* intermediate Excel skills essential
* SAP
* Relationship management
* Customer service
* Experienced in complex administrative roles
* Data processing
* Change implementation
* Process improvement
* On-site/off-site customer visits
* Exposure to monitoring stock levels
* Project management experience
