CUSTOMER SERVICE / ACCOUNTS ADMIN ASSISTANT
The post is Full Time, Fixed Term Contract to 31st March 2023.
Working hours are Monday – Thursday 08:30 to 16:45 with 45 minutes (unpaid) lunch break, Friday 08:30 to 13:00 (no lunch break).
The salary is £ 17,050pa
Established in 1978 in Japan, The business specialise in the secondary processing of industrial silicone rubber products and currently have a great opportunity for the right candidate to progress in Customer Service and Accounts departments of the business.
The right candidate will be computer literate and have a drive and enthusiasm and will need have good physical strength.
The main duties of this role will be :-
Loading and unloading of shipments and assisting in the warehouse
Packaging and Preparing goods for despatch – Involves some heavy lifting
Booking courier services
Filing (Customer Service & Accounts)
Updating various Excel spreadsheets (Customer Service and Accounts)
Sending Customers order acknowledgements
Assisting with stock control
Assisting Manufacturing with preparation and packaging work
Understanding and complying with the Quality Management System and management process requirements for this role, and for other tasks undertaken
Understanding and complying with the Health and Safety requirements
Assisting with other tasks as may be reasonably requested.
Key Skills, experience and personal characteristics
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbally
Confident in mathematics
Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
Ability to work independently or in a team
Timekeeping and organisational skills
“Can do” attitude
Must come from the same background
