UK Parking Control have an exciting opportunity for a Case Handler to join their team.
Location: Wooburn Green
Salary: £20,000 to £22,000 per annum
Hours of work: Monday – Friday 9am-5:30pm
Reporting into: Case Manager (Litigation)
This role will enable the successful candidate to develop a key understanding of how a legal role sits within a commercial organisation. The candidate must have prior experience within the parking sector, with particular knowledge of appropriate legislation and be competent with contract law.
The role will involve your development and understanding of specific laws which relate to the parking industry and you will be required to review Parking Charges as the enter our newly developed litigation and subsequently manage these cases through to completion.
Case Handler – Key Responsibilities:
– Undertaking reviews of Parking Charge Cases
– Making decisions on what route PCNs should take through our further enforcement processes
– Assisting our service providers with claims for the Small Claims Track of the County Court
– Liaising with legal firms in England, Scotland and Northern Ireland to facilitate county court proceedings
– Ensuring that the standard of cases sent to our service providers for court action and debt recovery are satisfactory
– Assisting in the maximisation of revenue collection through our debt recovery strategies
– Providing input and insight into further process improvements
– Assisting in the analysis of debt recovery performance
– Ensuring compliance with Industry’s code of practice
