Our client is going through an exciting period of growth therefore this is a fantastic time to be joining their friendly, passionate and hardworking team. They are seeking team members with skills in sales coordination and technical bid writing. The successful candidate will contribute to each stage of the bid process from enquiry to pitch to order.
Key Responsibilities will include:
· Being the main point of contact for your assigned Area Sales Managers
· Review and incorporate standard documentation into bids.
· Requesting, collating and editing additional content provided by other departments and third parties to meet the client specification to include in bids.
· Effectively manage bid timeline & each project milestone (multiple projects at once) to ensure they are delivered on time and on budget.
· Provide quotations and product information to new & existing clients as required.
· Adjusting pricing and creating the final quote and documentation packs using bespoke systems, MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
· Keeping detailed records and maintaining accurate data.
· Raising and processing direct supply orders to the company's factory.
· Raising invoices.
· Sourcing 3rd party pricing from suppliers as required for some projects.
Skills and experience required:
· Experience of bid creation & compiling sales documents including pricing & quotations.
· Proven track record of prioritising workload to meet agreed timescales & deadlines.
· Ability to manage own workload in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
· Excellent PC/ IT skills with business systems & Microsoft packages.
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
· Experience of the construction/ landscape or similar industry.
· A team player and natural collaborator with others.
· Able to work autonomously with excellent organisational and project management skills.
· Structured and accurate, excellent attention to detail is a must.
· A quick learner, able to comprehend and process technical construction information.
· Assertive and motivating, supportive of others in the workplace
