Our client are looking for a general administrator to join their charitable trust. This role requires someone with excellent communication and administrative skills. They provide support for elderly and vulnerable adults and you may sometimes be required to work with services, so an enhanced DBS certificate will be required
Job Purpose:
* Maintain records of all financial transactions in line with finance procedures
* Check finance information reports against the records kept in the Service and resolve any queries with the Woodley House Finance Team
* Maintain the client records system and vacancy reporting
* Maintain imprest account records, including the petty cash book, and prepare imprest claim forms and cheques for signing by the Manager
* Assist with the payment, recording and banking of Residents’ monies as requested
* Assist the Manager in the ordering of supplies
* Assist the Manager in checking timesheets against rotas and recording sickness / absences
* Provide general administrative support to the Manager
* Ensure that day-to-day tasks and routines are carried out to contribute to the smooth running of the service as a whole
Actively promote the service by clear, respectful and helpful communication with all potential customers including people who use services, relatives, health and social care professionals, other officials and contractors and visitors.
Contribute to the success of the whole staff team by respecting colleagues and participating in team meetings and communications systems
