We are currently looking for a Wealth Management Administration Apprentice to join our team in Stony Stratford, Milton Keynes. MK11 1SY.
A great opportunity to work with a leading chartered independent financial advisory and wealth management business who are fiercely committed to offering unbiased and independent financial and wealth management advice to individuals and business and to maintaining high professional standards. You will learn how to provide a full administrative support and service within a busy and dynamic financial advisory business, while also providing support to advisers, clients, and providers.
Hours of Work: 8.40 am – 5.10 pm Monday – Friday 37.5 hours per week
Salary: £250 – £300 per week (£13,000 – £15,600) dependent on experience and qualifications.
Wealth Management Administration Apprentice Duties:
The position involves a wide variety of tasks associated with supporting a financial planner advising a range of high-net worth individuals and business clients in the area of holistic financial planning, tax planning, investments, estate planning, retirement planning and protection within a directly authorised firm
Business processing including ensuring accuracy and submission of new business and applications to providers on our back-office system
Management and maintenance of external product provider information requests to gather relevant client product information and formulating information into a reportable format
Research and analysis to assist in the development of client financial planning strategies including use of cash flow planning software
Preparing of information and strategies using Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
Post, scanning, diary, and task management
Preparing for client meetings including compilation of review meeting reports and enclosures
Management and maintenance of client files, folders, and documents to ensure files are accurate, compliant, and structured in a clear and methodical manner
Client administrative work including using workflow and task management, record keeping and maintaining all information on our client back-office system
Providing a professional point of contact and dealing with client contact and queries and assisting in client ongoing relationships where required
Various projects to assist in development of the business
Work alongside the team to contribute to the development of Vizion Wealth as a whole
Ensure Vizion Wealth policies and best practice are adhered to, including customer care, data protection and anti-money laundering at all times
Assist in any other duties within the business as required to ensure work is completed in a timely manner.
Wealth Management Administration Apprentice Requirements:
Must have GCSE Maths and English at least Grade 5 or above (or equivalent) and 2 A Levels at grades C and above (or equivalent).
Strong Microsoft package skills including word, excel and powerpoint
Highly organised, strong task and diary management with a continuous improvement and personal development mindset
Show passion in delivering high quality work for all our clients and other members of the team
An interest in the financial markets and investments
Have desire to deliver a quality service
Be trusted to work towards meeting strict deadlines and to use own initiative
Ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet set deadlines
Good verbal, written and communication skills
Self-motivated and able to use your own initiative

Once the apprenticeship is complete there will be the potential opportunity to progress with qualifications and career, however, this will be dependent on various factors and will be reviewed upon completion.
