A global bank with its Corporate and Commercial Banking division operating from a number of regional business banking centres across the United Kingdom is looking a Technical Delivery Lead to join their team. This is a home-based role on a 5-month contract offering a day rate of £700.

The Technical Delivery Lead reports directly to the Head of Remediation – Financial Crime Centre of Excellence (FC CoE) and will work alongside colleagues and teams across the FC CoE, Business Units, SLoD FC, Technology and Operations and SLOD FC to assess and report on the robustness and 4E (Efficient, Economic, Effective and Ethical) of the Financial Crime Framework’s (FCF) processes and controls. 

As the Technical Delivery Lead you will: 

Be responsible for development of the remediation design across all in-scope populations, ensuring cross project design dependencies are identified and managed.
Ensure approach complies with the FCC policies, agreed design principles, industry best practice, applicable regulations and agreed exit criteria.
Lead a dedicated Remediation Delivery team for Personal customers ensuring fit for purpose design and approach for execution working with colleagues across FC Remediation.
Ensure that the Remediation Delivery Team is appropriately skilled, qualified & trained, ensuring FC and operational risks are managed and providing timely and achievable actions plans to mitigate identified risks and/or resolve capacity or volume issues.
Work in partnership with Remediation Business leads to identify change and support the implementation of a well-controlled, efficient, and cost an effective FC operation which meets its SLA commitments within the wider, defined governance and reporting structure.
Manage quality control of the Delivery team ensuring regular quality checks are in place and monitoring of competence levels.
Ensure robust forecasting and contingency planning is in place to ensure to ensure continuity of operations and appropriate resource allocation to meet demand.
Provide regular reporting on operational effectiveness and efficiency
Be responsible for managing relationships with external suppliers/ vendors such as consulting firms or third data providers.
We are looking for a Technical Delivery Lead with: 

An acceptable financial crime qualification.
An effective working knowledge of the UK’s legislative and regulatory framework for FC (Anti-Money Laundering, Sanctions and Anti-Bribery and Corruption).
Proven track record in building, managing, and implementing change within a financial institution, understanding and interpretation of regulations within the industry and the implementation of solutions to address regulatory requirements.
A broad business experience within the financial sector.
Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
