Zachary Daniels are very excited to be partnering with our client who has an impressive storty so far! Due to ongoing growth, we are recruiting an experienced Qualified Finance Analyst to join the Tech team. The role requires an individual who wants to be part of a company thats on a mission to make change.
This role sits within the very talented Tech team, part of the wider Finance function. The team support the entire group, working closely with the People and Finance functions by configuring system updates, implementing new functionality and providing the business with accurate and timely reporting.
What will I be doing?
Your main purpose will be supporting the continuous improvement. You will be instrumental in the implementation, roll out and maintenance of new system modules, as well as for maintaining and analysing data to identify improvements in a number of areas including the financial management and processes, IFRS and legislative requirements from HMRC and managing finance team queries.
Key responsibilities include:
Assisting in researching new capabilities
Monitoring issue log, promoting timely issue resolution, and managing appropriate issue escalation to achieve timely issue resolution
Providing troubleshooting support for functional and technical production issues, including coordinating with external suppliers and internal teams
Collaborating with functional and technical partners to optimize business processes (particularly workflow/security).
Supporting with major releases, identifying impact and enhancement opportunities associated with a new release, and communicating appropriately
Providing change management support by delivering training and development of materials
Supporting and optimizing the design, development and performance Workday and related business data and processes.
Partnering with partners and subject matter experts in our HR, Payroll and Finance teams to address and provide solutions to business needs
Ensuring documentation and processes are in place to satisfy audit requirements
Assisting with the execution of system changes (updates, integrations, new configurations) and participating in all aspects of system testing.

The business is pretty fast-paced so you'll be comfortable working in a dynamic high growth business. You're confident handling multiple projects and deadlines in a constantly evolving environment and are comfortable proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change.
You don't need to be a specialist in Workday but awareness of the system would help. For us, it's more important that you are systems savvy and tech confident with strong finance experience.
You're a critical problem solver and have an outstanding ability to analyse, identify and resolve gaps. You're a self-starter and great teammate with a collaborative, pragmatic approach.
Key skills:
ACA / CIMA / ACCA Newly Qualified (or finalist level)
Experience in control processes
Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
Excellent organisation skills to be able to manage and prioritise multiple time sensitive projects effectively.
An ability to adapt to a very fast paced changing environment and know that nothing is impossible!
Resilience, and not be afraid of hard work and be able to cope under pressure.
Confidence in your ability to collaborate closely at all levels and support them.
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
