About The Role
EKFB continues to expand at a blistering pace and we are looking to recruit a Systems Accountant to join our Finance team.
As the Systems Accountant you will lead on all aspects of the support of the Causeway CPA & CFA applications and the measurement of the integration between them. You will play a big part in helping develop the tools and applications used and will also work closely with 3rd party organisations to achieve fixes and improvements to their software.
Manage user incidents and requests for Causeway applications in a timely manner, ensuring either resolution, or further expert assistance is sort promptly
Manage the key reconciliation tools & queries used to measure the integration between CPA and CFA. This will encompass development of such tools, working with 3rd parties for fixes and/or improvements
Perform certain system housekeeping routines
Validate requests for alterations to the system configuration and carry them out where necessary
Support the system upgrade projects and regression testing
Liaise with the contracts regarding any findings or updates they may need to be aware
Working with other members of the BSET team to implement improvement projects where new and/or enhanced software, configuration, or functionality can be deployed to reduce query volume, and to increase user efficiency
Deliver remote solutions & coaching to the BSET user base. This may take the form of on-site meetings with users
Help deliver the outputs from the BSET team strategy
Support implementation, integration and mobilisations projects
Actively promote Health and Safety in the workplace, setting a good example to other employees and ensuring awareness of and compliance with general Health and Safety responsibilities as set out in the Health and Safety Management System
Perform other duties as may from time to time be reasonably required
About The Candidate
Some accounting qualifications and/or exposure to a system accounting role
Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work to tight deadlines (Essential)
A logical mind-set with the ability to quickly adapt in a dynamic environment (Essential)
Good interpersonal skills with ability to build effective working relationships with all levels (Essential)
Demonstrates strong analytical and problem solving skills (Essential)
Technically competent with good MS Office skills (Essential)
Some working knowledge of Structured Query Language (Advantageous)
Experience of working with large data sets (Advantageous)
Experience writing reports/queries (Advantageous)
