Senior Business Analyst

£55k – £65k + excellent benefits

Hybrid / 1 day per week from Milton Keynes

It's important to note that this isn't your typical BA role. Chosen candidates must have experience in Asset Finance. Ideally you'll also be a very compenent BA who's worked within Software Development, ideally with pricing or costing.

Although the role will vary from time to time, you'll mainly be tasked with:

– Interpret and understand complex calculations.

– Prepare calculations modelling spreadsheets.

– Analysing the feasibility of client requirements for systems enhancements; includes generalising the requirements ensuring the solution fits the needs of the broader client base and the way the product works.

– Writing up detailed designs including acceptance criteria showing the end result of a calculation enhancement.

You'll also be acting as a liaison between departmental end-users, technical analysts, developers, testers, consultants and other stakeholders in the analysis, design, configuration, testing and maintenance of software applications.

Knowledge/Skills required:

Asset finance experience – costing/pricing would be ideal.
Experience of technical skills and tools that allow you to perform analysis of design and system issues e.g. MS Excel, SQL Queries.
Excellent telephone manner and confident approach to problem solving along with excellent time management and communication skills.
Ability to build relationships quickly with clients and have clear communication.
Strong testing and analytical skills.
