The Aston Carter Consulting team are currently looking for SARs Analysts to build out a team for a Tier 1 Bank on a remote contracting opportunity.

Description:

Backlog of UAR/TM/ IR cases
Ensuring compliance with Repeat SARs process.
Pro-actively gather intelligence from media reports and appropriate websites to identify customers involved in financial crime.
Review Unusual Activity Reports (UARs) submitted by Client in the UK ensuring that suspicious activity is reported to the Authorities in accordance with regulatory requirements and current legislation. Ensure that validated SARs are reported to the Authorities in a timely manner as set out in procedures.

Skills:

3+ years direct transaction knowledge
Experience filing SARS directly to NCA
Understanding of PEP/ Sanction screening & adverse media checks
Expert in retail and commercial accounts
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills
