SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN MILTON KEYNES, BUCKINGHAMSHIRE- JOB REF: JO26985

Accountancy Elite are thrilled to be partnered with an fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Milton Keynes who are specialists in their field, providing high quality service to a wide range of clients across the UK. Due to a period of substantial growth, this small but friendly practice is looking to expand their team.

The successful candidate for this role would be late stages AAT or AAT qualified and looking to continue with further qualifications such as ACCA/ACA. A minimum of 2 years' experience in UK accountancy practice is essential. Good experience with accounting software such as Sage and Quickbooks would also be preferred. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to gain experience and build knowledge in other areas of the business such as Tax consultancy with full training provided.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

* Preparation of Statutory Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.

* Quarterly Bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients.

* Monthly Payroll and CIS compliance.

* Maintaining Company Statutory Books.

* Personal and Corporate Tax Compliance.

Candidates Attributes:

* Minimum of 2 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.

* Late stages AAT or AAT qualified, looking to continue onto ACCA or ACA qualification.

* Experience with Sage/Quickbooks or similar software package.

* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
