Are you an experienced Sales Ledger professional, looking for a new opportunity?
Interaction Accountancy & Finance currently have a vacancy for an Accounts Assistant (Sales Ledger) to join our clients modern and friendly finance team based in their Head Office, in Milton Keynes. This is a full-time permanent position, office-based Monday-Friday. Salary is between £23,(Apply online only)-£26,(Apply online only) DOE.
Responsibilities:
· Receive, sort and log daily banking for allocated sites.
· Complete daily banking posting sheets for allocated sites.
· Correctly allocate payments to the relevant outstanding SL accounts.
· Review your SL accounts, resolve queries and distribute weekly debtor reports to your allocated sites.
· Reconcile cash suspense accounts.
· Investigate and resolve queries quickly and efficiently.
· Resolving internal queries quickly and efficiently.
· Keeping all filing up to date.
· Highlight to the Finance Manager and/or Group Financial Controller of any known financial risk to the business.
· Ensure that all systems and procedures in place within the business comply with current legislation and Group policy.
Successful Applicant:
· Previous experience working in a cashiering/sales ledger role.
· Used to working in a fast-paced environment
· Confident working to daily, weekly and monthly deadlines
· Attention to detail.
· Enthusiastic and motivated.
· Computer literacy, strong administration and time management.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Be a confident communicator both verbal and written.
· Good team player
· Kerridge/CDK/Drive experience beneficial but not essential.
· Automotive experience beneficial but not essential.
