Looking to kick start your future in the Finance world?
We have an opportunity within Finance department of one of our major clients for a Sales Ledger Clerk to work on a temporary basis for 3 to 4 months.
As the Sales Ledger Clerk you will join an enthusiastic, friendly and professional team helping the Billing and Credit Control team in a range of daily processes.
Key areas of responsibility include:
Ensuring the prompt and accurate posting of cash
Manage the team group mailboxes
Supporting the credit control team in reconciliations and analysis
Liaise with external customers and internal departments to resolve billing queries
Processing of credit notes
Improve on current practices and help make efficiencies
To assist the finance team on ad hoc tasksPersonal Attributes
Finance experience
Able to work to strict deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy
A strong attention to detail
Ability to interpret large volumes of data
Able to work on own initiative
Flexible
Able to work under pressure, remaining calm and patient at all times
Customer focused
Intermediate excel skills with proven working knowledge
