Role purpose:

The purpose of this role is to review client files from a KYC and financial crime perspective and to ensure policy requirements are being followed. Provide feedback to the KYC team and other departments plus actively participate in relevant stakeholder meetings.

Key responsibilities:

Managing daily work queue efficiently
QC review low/medium/high risk files
Assist in providing MI
Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to
Help deliver training
Suggest ways to innovate the service being provided
Work collaboratively with key colleagues and stakeholders
Any other duties commensurate with the grade and level of responsibility of this post, for which the post holder has the necessary experience and/or training.

Essential skills, knowledge and experience:

Good understanding and experience of EDD QC KYC reviews
Proven knowledge of UK regulations
Be a self-starter and able to work on individual basis as well as part of a team.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to work well under pressure with attention to detail.
Presenting information in a clear and concise manner.
Excellent communication and decision-making skills with the ability to demonstrate sound judgement achieving the right business culture and behaviours.
Experience in 1st line and/or 2nd line QC function within a financial services environment
Experience and knowledge of business and/or banking processes, especially around account opening routines and payment/transaction processing systems.Additional Details
