Purchase Ledger Clerk (Hybrid Working)

£19,000-£21,000 per annum
Monday to Friday
8.30am-5.00 pm Monday to Thursday, 8.30am-4pm Friday

Our client is seeking a Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their Milton Keynes based team, to oversee all purchases made, money paid and owed.

Although this role offers hybrid working, you will be required to attend the office for a minimum of 3 days per week so we are looking for candidates local to Milton Keynes.

The job will involve…

Inputting invoices on to the computer system
Processing business expense returns
Setting up new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
Preparing payments to UK and International Suppliers
Processing invoices, reconciling suppliers’ statements and following up any missing invoices
Dealing with all purchase enquires with both internal and external customers
Obtaining correct authorisation for invoices and expense returns
Posting cash book payments and receipts
Preparing the month end payment run to be authorised by Management
Month End bank reconciliation

Ensure the security of all company property within the Accounts Department
Ensure high standards of conduct, appearance and behaviour at all time
Develop and promote a culture of continuous improvement
Comply with Health & Safety regulations at all times
