We have a fantastic opportunity for chartered surveyors who hold either an MRICS or an AssocRICS qualification!

You will own and develop the Property Valuation and New Build controls capability within the Residential Property Finance function.

You will learn to implement controls and procedures around New Build Financing, Valuation, Property Types, Concentration Limits and LPA recoveries as well as act as point of reference for the overall business and provide support to Underwriting, Completions, Sales and the Collections and Recoveries Team with all property related matters.

You will have the opportunity to liaise between the Valuation and LPA Receivers panel including cost control and first line audits and undertake property due diligence and manage the "One Stop Shop "property'' search process.

Key responsibilities

Responsible for New Build exposure monitoring including settings and monitoring exposure limits generally and on specific developments, where appropriate
Responsible for providing approval for acceptability of developments due to property type, location etc
Design and own business process to ensure the successful execution of strategy with key considerations to property types (e.g New Build)
Manage key relationships with Valuer and Legal panel
Design and own comprehensive suits of management information to ensure management of key risk and exposures
Maintain strong relationships with Underwriters, Products, Sales, Completions, Recoveries and Credit Risk colleagues
Manage LPA receivers to minimise loss to the bank
Manage all property risk and property related queries from within the business and externally
Present Property Risk MI to monthly Executive Risk Committee
Member of Panel Management Committee with responsibility to report on Valuer SLA performance
Liaise with overseas clients and undertake property searches

Skills required

Qualified Surveyor and hold either MRICS or AssocRICS qualification
