My client is looking for a qualified Accountant to build a new management accounts pack for their finance team to use. This is a project role with a real focus on building Excel models in a straightforward and easy to understand way that the Finance team can use independently going forward.
The objectives are:
Build a fit for purpose Excel file that will form the basis of a new management accounts pack and Finance deck for the Board
Build a new Budget and Forecast file in excel that will comprise P&Ls, Balance Sheets and Cashflow Statements as well as detailed revenue and cost analysis and KPI's
Other adhoc analysis / project work as requiredThe candidate requirements are as follows:
Qualified Accountant (ideally Chartered) – ideally top tier firm trained
At least 5 years Post Qualification Experience
Background possibly in Corporate Finance, M&A advisory
Strong financial planning and analysis experience (eg budget, forecast, long range plan preparation and financial analysis)
Very good at Excel – critical
Good at Powerpoint / financial presentations (would be ideal)
The role is relatively standalone with no direct reports, so you need to be hands on and in the detailRole Advertised: 3rd December 2021
