Our client, a financial services provider in the mortgages and savings field, have a new opportunity for an analytical minded individual to join their operations team, being responsible for the administration of relevant processes and procedures, to administer and launch products. This role will review and complete market research, to ensure the organisation are offering competitive products and retaining customers.

Our client would like this role holder to be predominately office based initially, however there is flexibility for a hybrid approach to the working week once established in the role.

Key duties of the Product Analyst will include:

* Regular scanning of sourcing systems in order to analyse how the products are positioned within the sourcing systems

* Complete regular reviews of the sourcing engines in order to produce a compare/contrast document of the offering in comparison to competitors offering (highlighting differences – including lending areas / criteria. Review ongoing performance of our products to see how they are performing in the intermediary market

* Proactivity identify and analyse changes in the market and any concerns to the Head of Mortgage Sales to ensure that timely action can be taken should the products become less favourable in the sourcing systems

* Work alongside Finance / Risk to ensure the correct MI is produced for the Head of Mortgage Sales.

* Ensure quality controls are kept up-to-date on a monthly basis – including regular reviews of the website

* Responsible for the testing and launching of new products and ensuring all governance is adhered too

* Work alongside areas of the business as required with all the administration associated with the product approval process ensuring that the agreed procedures are followed and all relevant authorisations recorded.

* Working to ensure that all product information is kept up to date on the website, Broker On-Line, Provision and the sourcing engines including criteria hubs

The successful candidate will possess:

* Previous financial services experience

* Either previous analytical experience or degree educated in a relevant subject i.e. mathematics/economics
