This is an excellent opportunity for a CIPS qualified Procurement Manager to take a position at a European leader, where you will be managing a procurement strategy and system for their supplier needs. Candidates will ideally be coming with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar supplier focused procurement position, and proven experience of the management and ownership of a procurement process. Candidates will ideally hold a CIPS qualification or be currently working towards it.
Please note this is a role sourcing the supplies and contracts required for a services business to run, candidates coming from retail, construction, ingredients buying backgrounds will not be suitable as we’re seeking people with experience buying things like IT, consumables, facilities and suppliers.
Key Requirements in Applicants:
Stakeholder management experience.
Project management experience would be desirable.
Strong planning & organisational skills, and a high attention to detail.
Ideally coming a Not for Profit, Charity, education or professional services background.
This company has approximately 100 employees, therefore someone who has previously worked for massive commercial corporation may not find the position challenging.
