Interaction Accountancy & Finance are delighted to once again be called upon to support this Milton Keynes based organisation who are currently looking to bring on board a Procurement Analyst for an interim period or approximately 7 weeks.
This role will see the successful individual working with the Procurement team and assist in procuring quality goods in the most cost effective manner.
Duties will include:
· Sourcing, compiling and analysing information to support the decision making process for Procurement projects and tenders
· Working closely with the full Procurement Team, supporting them with good clear analysis of spend, supplier performance data, market data and the management of supplier relationships
· Administration of the departments contract database and savings tracker,
· Identifying and delivering tangible results through cost reduction and service improvement on projects
· Working collaboratively with the business to ensure projects meet with the business needs and reflect the organisations ethos
· Being involved in other areas outside of category such as spend reports, system and process improvements
· Dealing with day to day queries
To be suitable for this position you will be able to demonstrate the ability to analyse large data sets and utilise Excel to an advanced level. Therefore, an analytical nature is key and experience within procurement will be beneficial but not absolutely necessary. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to start immediately
