Practice Accountant

A great opportunity available for a Qualified Accountant wanting to further their career.

We are currently looking for an ambitious qualified accountant who is looking to join a fantastic, growing and established accountancy practice based near Leighton Buzzard.

This is a great opportunity for a practice accountant to develop your skills wishing to become a manager or a partner in the future.

Position: Qualified Accountant
Location: Soulbury, Nr Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire
Hours: Full time
Holidays: 25 days + bank holidays
Salary: £26k-£40k depending on experience

Who would suit the role:

• Ideally you would have a minimum of 1 year post qualification practice experience
• Be looking for a career in general practice
• Have ambition, with a good work ethic and the intention of achieving Manager/Partner status
• Able to manage your time and work load
• Be confident and a good communicator; able to build good peer and client relationships
• Have a good level of IT literacy alonside a positive working knowledge of Xero, MS Office and Digita ( prefered but not essential).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Accounts preparation
• Corporation Tax
• Personal Tax (individuals, sole-traders and partnerships)
• Assisting with client bookkeeping, VAT reviews, management accounts and advisory services
