People Development Business Partner
Salary: Competitive + Car + Company Success Payment Scheme + Excellent Benefits Package
Location: Milton Keynes and Loughborough + Nationwide Travel
Working hours: 08:45 to 17:00
Main Responsibilities
Reporting directly to the Head of People Development, you will proactively partner with the business, identifying and evaluating our leadership and soft-skills development needs. Drawing upon your relevant knowledge of learning and development solutions, you will then recommend and deliver programmes to deliver against these requirements. You are a personable, driven and enthusiastic individual committed to driving a positive people culture. Working with the wider team you will promote a culture of learning and development, giving our employees a great career experience whilst also preparing us for the future skills and capabilities we will need as a business.

Tasks
Working closely with our People Business Partners and our Managers to understand and deliver against their training needs for leadership and soft-skills development
Be visible across both our Milton Keynes Head Office and sites across the UK to deliver and design face-to-face, workshops and bespoke team interventions as required
Experiments with different development solutions, not just face-to-face courses. Digital resources & learning interventions that can be quickly deployed to respond to business needs
Optimize the use of our social learning platform so it becomes a valuable part of our overall development offering
Promote the use of new learning methods, sharing good practices and trends
Challenge and develop the skills of our managers to support them with their team’s development
In partnership with our Resourcing Business Partners and People Business Partners you will be involved in workforce planning, internal talent and succession planning discussions
Working with our external suppliers, ensuring we receive the best possible service
About you
Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to quickly build rapport
Experience of coaching and mentoring at various levels in the organisation (Certified coaching qualification is desirable)
Excellent presentation and delivery skills
(Desirable) Experience in using profiling tools and incorporating this into development programmes
You thrive in a challenging, fast-paced environment
A can-do, customer-centric approach
Experience of supplier management
Ability to work under pressure and on multiple topics simultaneously
Knowledge of the latest talent and development trends, with the ability to translate the theory into practice
