Part-time Tax Specialist – Property Company – Milton Keynes with remote/home working – Circa £60,000-£80,000 pro-rata

Robert Walters are hiring for a part-time Tax Specialist for a leading property company.

This is a permanent part-time role that can be done on either a 2 day or 3 day per week basis.

The role is based out of their Milton Keynes office but supports home-working and so 1 day per week in the office is possible, with the other days working remotely.

The position will look after all taxes that affect the company in the UK – This includes all direct taxes and indirect taxes – Biased towards corporation tax but with a decent amount of VAT, employee taxes, R&D tax etc

The roleholder will be tasked with management of the compliance and returns – But largely the preparation of the returns will be outsourced, and therefore this person just needs to manage the process.

This leaves the Tax Specialist able to focus on tax advisory, tax reporting, tax project work and business partnering across the organisation.

The company are looking for a qualified individual (ACA / ACCA / ICAS / CTA etc.) who has prior experience in tax specialist positions, either in practice or in industry.

This would be a great opportunity for someone in practice looking to move to industry, but would also suit someone working in a similar in-house role who wants a wider role, a better work/life balance or to reduce their hours.

The position comes with a salary of circa £60,000-£80,000 pro-rated down to either a 2 day or 3 day week.
