Do you have exceptional communication skills and strong attention to detail? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a Paraplanner to join our friendly team.
The ideal candidate will assume full responsibility for preparation and maintenance of client files, preparation and implementation of recommendations and Financial Plans (including cash flow forecasts), and ongoing reviews of client affairs. To keep up to date with technical issues and undertake necessary research.
You will also assist in the preparation for client meetings, creating and maintaining client records, client valuations, processing new business applications and compliance reports. The standard of work and knowledge levels are expected to be considerably above that of an office administrator.
Key accountabilities;
To accurately follow the correct company procedure in relation to the following (but not exhaustive) tasks:
Researching, providing analysis and producing client recommendations
Providing technical support
To be an alternative point of client contact for all non-advice related matters
Produce compliant suitability reports
Keep up to date with the technical market and qualifications required to enjoy diploma status
Design and implement office procedures
To conform with the financial regulator's code of ethics at all time and correctly and accurately follow all company procedures at all times
Ensure the work you carry out is at the highest and accurate standard required
To comply with requests of company management in agreed timescales
Ensure the inputting of data into company software is accurate and appropriate
Operate effective time management, ensuring tasks are planned and carried out on time with efficiency
Identify business opportunities and bring to the attention of company management
Identify inefficiencies with company procedures and bring to the attention of office management
Assist the team leader in maintaining the compliance diary ensuring compliance tasks are carried out and recorded as and when required
Assist in the monitoring of outside companies to ensure the delivery of key marketing tasks and projects

CII DipPFS or equivalent (Level 4)
At least 2 years' experience working as a Paraplanner
Ability to work within defined business processes and achieve deadlines
Highly organised and methodical with a strong attention to detail and the ability to analyse information
At an advanced level using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (experience in G Suite an advantage)
Flexibility – available to work additional hours on an occasional basis to meet deadlines and to assist with company client events
Ability to prioritise and plan own workload and take personal responsibility for completing tasks, but also someone who is willing to assist others when busyDesirable Skills
