An established, independent mortgage broker, with access to over 50 different lenders, is looking for a new Mortgage Advisor to join their team. They identify and source the best lending options for our clients' personal circumstances and are well known for delivering excellent customer service and offer honest, reliable and expert advice. Honesty and integrity is at the heart of everything they do in order to provide and bespoke advice. They manage their clients' processes from start to finish, ensuring peace of mind and up to date status updates.
The role
This is a fantastic position for a qualified Mortgage Adviser to join a growing firm that can offer career development by allowing you to be a key part in the firm's ongoing successes.
You will be part of a technical team and be actively involved in the back-office process as a key member, the ideal candidate will want to have autonomy within the role and work closely with a team of experienced financial advisers.
What you will be doing
Develop relationships with our existing and new customers, ensuring they receive the highest levels of service and turn this into mortgage business
Processing mortgage applications and ensuring compliance of casework with FCA and internal guidelines
Calling and meeting with potential clients to generate business and mortgage sign ups
You'll need to demonstrate a commercial focus that leads to outcomes that are right for our
customers whilst applying clear risk management and quality controls.
Identify and build relationships with mortgage lenders and insurance providers
Ensure that client data is accurately collected and recorded and managed within the company's CRM system
Identifying opportunities to develop the business
Engaging and contributing to the company's overall marketing strategy
Contributing to the development of marketing literature and overall company profile
Working closely with members of colleagues to ensure the common goal and outcome is achieved
What we're looking for
A natural communicator with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
The ability to maintain strict quality and compliance standards
Flexible and adaptable to change and new technology
You must be CeMAP qualified
You must also have previously held Competent Adviser Status within the last 36 months and been working in an advising capacity, achieving business objectives. ● Effective communication, both written and verbal ● Have a professional, proactive and positive attitude

Basic salary of £25k – £30k depending on experience
