Our client, a financial services provider offering mortgage and savings, have an exciting opportunity for a Mortgage Administrator to join their team. The purpose of the role is to support the processing of mortgages from initial application to completion in a timely and compliance manner.
Our client would like this role holder to be predominately office based initially, however there is flexibility for a hybrid approach to the working week once established in the role.
Key duties of the Mortgage Administrator will be:
* To ensure that all Mortgage department administration is carried out efficiently and accurately and in compliance with the department’s procedures.
* To be an active member of the mortgages team that aims to deliver a first class personalised service, which includes keeping the customer, informed of any delays or issues surrounding mortgage applications.
* To accurately input customer details into the systems and tracking documents.
* To proactively follow up with solicitors, brokers etc to request additional information where required.
* To communicate with the customers, both current and prospective in a professional way and provide required information in a timely and appropriate format.
* To undertake all aspects of mortgage administration relating to new, existing and redeemed mortgages in accordance with MCOB for regulated loans.
* To actively suggest process improvements to ensure the continued productivity and quality and service provided by the team.
* To liaise with all departments where required ensuring that information is provided swiftly and accurately.
* To support the Head of Lending to produce and conduct data analysis where required
* To work with and support the Senior Underwriter on the administration regarding the retention process.
The successful candidate for the role will possess:
* Previous administrative experience
* Previous customer service experience
