Our successful Milton Keynes based client, who supplies the car market, is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their Finance Team.

This is a fantastic opportunity, within a supportive company and friendly team.

Job Title: Management Accountant

Hours: 36.5 hour week, Monday to Thursday 8:30 – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm

Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office and 2 working from home
Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 DOE

The job will involve…

Producing the management account information for 3 companies as well as group accounts.
Making sure that accruals/prepayments/payroll and other month end journals are processed correctly for the MA’s
Producing cash flow forecasts quarterly
VAT returns for all companies and acquiring new VAT numbers for exporting to EU
Maintaining fixed Asset register updating and implementing best practice
Ad-hoc duties as required 
Experience and Skill set required:

Solid experience of working with Sage 200, Quickbooks and Access Dimensions
Previous experience of working in a management accountant role essential
Ability to accurately enter information into various databases/CRMs is critical
Sound understanding of differing functions finance
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office
The ability to prioritise and plan effectively to achieve monthly targets and deadlines
Technically competent and able to deal in multiple currencies
