Our Client a well established and fast growing business providing technology solutions to manage and improve recruitment supply chains, making hiring reliable, simple and fast while reducing costs.
Through growth they are looking to recruit an experienced FP&A Accountant, who is forward thinking, ambitious and wants to be a part of the exciting growth programme they have for the business.
Main aspects of the role –
Financial Accounting
* Month end reporting and consolidation (P&L, BS and CF)
* Co-ordination of (and preparation of some) balance sheet reconciliations
* Assist with the annual audit and CT process
* Monthly Board reporting (including assisting in the preparation of the pack)
* Statutory accounts preparation
* Support stakeholder management (including banks / debt fund / PE investors)
* Covenant reporting
* Review and improve internal controls and processes
FP&A
* Co-ordination and support of the annual budget / planning process and help establish a forecasting process
* Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
* Provide critical insight into the drivers and levers underpinning financial performance
* Provide timely and robust financial analysis and management insight
* Ad-hoc analysis and projects as required
* This is a permanent role. Working hours; the core full time hours would be Monday – Friday 8:45 to 17:30.
Essential skills and Qualifications
* Professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA)
* Strong analytical and forecasting skills
* Able to engage with and influence stakeholders at all levels
* Strong system skills
* Good attention to detail
* Hands on approach
Excellent communication skills, including an ability to explain complex accounting / financial concepts in an easily understandable manner
It would be an added bonus to have experience of working in a private equity backed business
