Our Milton Keynes based client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join their team for a 3-to-6-month period.

Supporting our EMEA business, the post holder will be providing support across a broad range of financial areas including month end close, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow, and management accounting including helping close both the UK and wider EMEA financials.

Hours: 7.5 per day (1-hour lunch)
Salary: Up to £50,000 per annum D.O.E

The main duties of the role include:

Assisting with the maintenance of the trial balance, preparation of month end balance sheet and P&L reporting.
Assist with reconciliations of all balance sheet accounts and the preparation of variance analysis.
Enter monthly general ledger journals
Any other applicable duties.
Experience and Skillset required:

Previous experience of working in an Accounts Payable role is essential.
Previous experience of working in a large finance department supporting a global business is desirable.
Ability to accurately enter information into various databases/CRMs is critical.
Sound understanding of differing functions with a large finance department.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft office.
An understanding of Epicor accounting system is desirable, but not essential.
The ability to prioritise and plan effectively to achieve monthly targets and deadlines.
Technically competent and able to deal in multiple currencies.
Experience of query and issue resolution.
